Oliver Urso
Oliver, born in Denmark on April 29, 1999, is a professional footballer with dual Italian and Danish nationality. He currently plays for Reggiana in the Serie B Championship.
Developed as a player in Denmark, between KB Copenhagen and BSV, he distinguished himself from an early age for his technical qualities and game vision. These qualities led him to Italy early on, where he continued his development for three and a half years in AS Roma’s Youth Sector, refining his talent in one of Italian football’s most prestigious academies.
After a year at Nuova Tor Tre Teste, his performances attract Cesena‘s attention, who commit decisively to him. There he completes four high-level seasons in the Cesena youth sector, consolidating his development path.
In August 2018 he moves on loan to Pro Piacenza, before finishing the season at Forlì, in Serie D. The following year, in August 2019, he joins Viterbese Castrense, beginning his professional football experience in Serie C.
In July 2022, after successful seasons with the yellow-and-blue shirt, he transfers to Novara, also in Serie C. With the Novara squad he plays two seasons, collecting 61 appearances and 9 goals overall, of which 8 were scored in his final season, confirming constant growth and decisive contribution to the team.
In July 2024, Oliver Urso signs a three-year contract with Reggiana, marking his Serie B debut and a new, important chapter in his professional career. In February 2026, he joined Calcio Lecco 1912 on loan from AC Reggiana
Oliver is an extremely versatile player capable of effectively covering multiple positions on the pitch. In the youth sector, he played various attacking roles, acting as a playmaker, second striker, and external forward.
In more recent seasons in Serie C with Viterbese, he distinguished himself as a left winger, adapting consistently both in defence and midfield. During his two seasons at Novara, he established himself firmly on the left flank, confirming his reliability and concrete contribution in the attacking phase, evidenced by the 9 goals he scored.
